Do customers often have a clear idea of their destination?
The destination is THE first thing people look at. As a result, 90% of our customers already have a clear idea of where they want to go. For the remaining 10%, we’re happy to give advice, but the choice of destination remains paramount.
Which destinations offer the best value for money in your opinion?
In Greece, for example, charter flights are often cheaper. Most yachts are not new, which explains the lower prices. Obviously, it doesn’t have quite the same effect as a brand-new yacht, but you can still enjoy the cruise without spending too much.
What’s the perfect destination for families?
Families generally appreciate the clean, safe beaches and warm, shallow waters, ideal for water sports. Greece and the Côte d’Azur are particularly well-suited to this type of vacation. Croatia, Corsica, Sardinia and parts of the Balearic Islands (Ibiza and Formentera) may also be suitable. In fact, any destination can be adapted for a family cruise, it’s just a matter of determining the traveler’s preferences.
What about other types of cruises?
Absolutely! Whether you’re looking for tranquility, glamour or a party atmosphere, all our destinations can be adapted to your needs. All you need to do is choose the right yacht, the right crew, the right itinerary, and above all, the right period. For example, if you want to enjoy nightlife, restaurants and shopping, the Côte d’Azur, Italy, the Balearic Islands and Greece are great options. Are there any new emerging destinations to consider?
We have organized charters in the Pacific, such as in Fiji and Tahiti. Some of our yachts also went to the Maldives this summer, and the Galapagos Islands are gaining in popularity. Yacht owners choose these exclusive destinations for their own pleasure, rather than for commercial reasons.
Will these more remote destinations gain in popularity?
Without a doubt, they offer new options for charter regulars looking for something new. However, their remoteness will probably make them destinations of exclusivity rather than popularity.
What’s your favourite destination?
It’s hard to say, but I have to admit I love the Amalfi Coast! Its restaurants perched on the hills are breathtaking, and its palette of 13 different villages is a godsend. Capri is equally splendid, with its chic restaurants, pebble beaches and magnificent caves. Sure, it’s a change from sandy beaches, but the culture, gastronomy and scenery are well worth the detour. Every year we discover something new, it’s magical.
